Wolgan Valley Resort
Using world-leading conservation measures, the original Homestead has been carefully restored to its former glory. Encompassing 40 free-standing luxury suites, each with its own private terrace and swimming pool, the luxury resort was built using today’s cutting edge technology and yet perfectly echoes the original heritage architecture, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the vastness and dramatic beauty of Australia’s Hinterland terrain.
From the privacy of guest suites, to the social hubs of the Homestead, the resort’s design makes good use of the Valley’s spectacular scenery below. The main building was designed by architect Dominic Bennett (Turner & Associates) and was built by local craftsmen. Beautifully furnished, the property exudes a real sense of old colonial times.
A Guest Service Agent is assigned at the start of each guest’s stay to look after individual needs, share information about the property, and arrange all tours and activities. They will also enquire as to guests’ special requirements, to ensure a memorable experience throughout.
Whether you are staying for a relaxing and invigorating break in untamed nature, or seek a romantic haven to spend quality time with a special someone, Wolgan Valley is not just a hotel or resort; it has been designed to showcase the best of everything Australia has to offer.
The resort’s Field Guides are able to offer a variety of inspiring suggestions by which to see Wolgan Valley and the surrounding Blue Mountains region. Guests can choose from hiking nature trails, exploring the countryside on horseback, touring by four-wheel drive, mountain biking through forests, or stargazing in the dead of night. These are just some of the many adventures awaiting those with a love for Australia’s great outdoors.
