Sydney HeliTours provide a complimentary transfer service, pickup is available from two different hotels ONLY where guests will be transferred back to Circular Quay after the flight.
Transfers are operated on a fixed timetable.
Standard transfers are available for 1-13 passengers, utilising our 13 seat minibus. Please contact us if you have larger group requirements.
Courtesy transfers are available 7 days a week from designated Sydney City Hotels at scheduled times, based on availability. If your hotel/accommodation location is not one of our designated pickup points through out the City, our team will be able to direct you to the closest pickup point.
For the ultimate VIP treatment, private transfer upgrades are available. Choose from an environmentally friendly, technologically advanced Tesla chauffeured vehicle. All upgrade transfers are provided by Evoke Limousines and are an additional cost.
We will always recommend booking excursions or hotel transfers as far in advance as possible. Successfully booking a helicopter transfer depends upon demand, and if you haven’t booked in advance, there’s a chance that the entire fleet might be busy during the days you wish to travel.
We tend to remove online booking availability one week in advance, but you can always call us to see if there is last-minute availability. Most of the time, we will be able to accommodate your needs, but leaving it until the last minute runs the risk of not being able to use our hotel transfers service at the precise time you need to.
Each of our helicopters does have weight restrictions, and we are unable to exceed them. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t bring enough luggage. Our most powerful aircraft, the Eurocopter EC135 P2E, can carry between 120-150 kg (265 and 330 lbs) of luggage. With under-seat storage and a luggage compartment in the back, it shouldn’t be an issue to bring whatever you need to board your flight.
For hotel transfers with minimal luggage, we would recommend a smaller aircraft, such as the Robinson R44 or the Eurocopter E120. If you have any specific questions regarding luggage or weight limits, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our team will be glad to answer all your questions and do everything they can to accommodate your needs.
Thankfully, the weather in Sydney is usually perfect for flying, but in the unlikely event of inclement weather, we may need to refund or reschedule your flight. We understand that hotel transfers often can’t be rescheduled, so our team will talk to you about the best possible solution.
To ensure the weather is suitable for flying, our team always carries out pre-flight weather assessments. If there is a heavy storm, strong winds, or excessive fog, there is a chance we will not be able to fly. We will never compromise the safety of our passengers and pilots, but due to the unlikely occurrence of severe weather conditions in Sydney, we are usually good to go. If you have booked a flight but are concerned about the weather, contact us, and we’ll provide an update.
